What is skills coaching?
Skills coaching is a type of support that focuses on helping individuals with mental health and life stressors achieve their short-term and long-term goals. This offering entails a combination of behavioral interventions, therapeutic exposures, skills building, and accountability.
Together, our skills coaches and their clients will work to identify pain points, develop a personalized plan for recovery and provide guidance and support as the individual works to implement that plan.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) are often integral parts of skills coaching. While CBT provides cognitive tools to challenge negative thinking and build problem-solving skills, DBT offers practical strategies to cope with overwhelming emotions in the moment. Offered together or separately, these skill sets can be used to improve emotional resilience and navigate stressful situations in healthier, more constructive ways.
Through regular practice and reinforcement of these skills in and outside of coaching sessions, individuals can develop a personalized toolkit for managing distress, enhancing emotional regulation, and improving overall well-being. The goal with skills coaching is to help you reach your full potential and lead an independent, satisfying life!
